KARACHI: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.646 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,584. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,049.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.913 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.515 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 932.728 million, platinum PKR 168.922 million, silver PKR 79.306 million, copper PKR 21.669 million, natural gas PKR 9.262 million and Brent crude oil PKR 6.098 million.
